- Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw your consent at any time; however, doing so may limit our ability to provide certain travel services.
5. Limitation of Use/Disclosure and No-Sale Policy
- Prohibition of Sale: We will never sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
- Limited Sharing: To ensure a seamless journey, we share necessary details only with trusted service providers (hotels, airlines, etc.) and legal authorities as required by law.
6. Storage and International Transfer
Your information may be stored or processed outside of Canada (including Japan) via the systems we utilize. In such cases, we strive to maintain a level of protection equivalent to BC's PIPA requirements.
7. Safeguards
We implement the following measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure:
- Physical Measures: Confidential documents are stored in secure, locked cabinets.
- Technical Measures: Use of SSL/TLS encryption, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and robust security protocols.
- Organizational Measures: Strict enforcement of privacy obligations across our team and partner providers.
8. Retention and Destruction
We destroy or anonymize information as soon as it is no longer required for its original purpose. However, information used to make a decision about an individual will be retained for at least one year following that decision, as required by PIPA.
